‘Mori,

This era of unspoken, broken,

unyielding and loss of our world.

Once there all was,

once they were lost,

once they spoke of our trust,

But yet, undefined for endless death at cost.

Now my kingdom, hidden behind alleys and dark flow,

the innocence of life and together our paths are crossed.

With a broken smile I remember the search

where they found us praying on our knees.

Somewhere only we know, afar and unholy,

we feel the wind lingering at ease.

This blooming rose, arose,

as we honoured the fellow scars hidden in our trees.

Where death has spoken;

“Tell her I wasn’t scared for the unknown that she sees.”

  1. Thank you for sharing this. I felt an emotional bell curve as I was reading it, from beneath to up high and back again. I did also find this followed the physical layout of the poem, with the longer lines in the middle and the shorter ones at the beginning and the end. Kind of a microcosm of life, in a way?

    • And once again, thank you for reading my work, hamish ❤️

Life, the creation of my creativity, pronounced the story. To Play, to seek and to hide throughout the energy in motion. Yes, the layout was inspired by everything that beholds the microcosm of life. Whenever I write the energy in me flows through my emotions and veins until they reach my fingers. As I type I get lost in the muse and let them speak the truth as I feel the relentless pursuit of connection!❤️

Always beautiful how you connect everything!! lovely ❤️
