‘Peace,

Hold me close as I pray

for I have lost my words.

I dream of a tomorrow

as I wake with the sound of birds.

There was the world,

that stood still,

before I could open my eyes.

The sweet rain wanders

in between my daydream-cries.

Where I belong, Luna nights away,

I follow my river until I rise.

For I am one with my farewell

I pray to my heart as I speak.

Here I float over still waters

as I hold my hands, side by side,

for the unknown weak.

Wherefore missing yesterday

would be my lost Greek.

To be lost, to be found,

I arise for an adrift mystique.

For I have lost my words

I pray for you to hold me close.

As I wake with the sound of birds

I dream of a tomorrow rose.
