Eye

to

eye

I lay across

my mirror lake.

For this

beauty belongs

with my snowflake.

Tears disappear

from evergreen

during my wake.

Dismantle my

idyllic thoughts

as I almost break.

For I see

my bluebird fly

to the sun

for its first daybreak.

To drown

in lone waters

I fall as I awake.

He who sees

my moonlight

from far beholds

my edge of life…As my mistake.
