‘Realm,

Eye for an eye as I walk down your lane

with the ancestors of the living death.

Tales to be told and eyes to be fed,

but tonight,

in binding lights,

we lost our breath.

This frighting falls in my mothers eyes

beholds my past with her screaming sight.

Lost in sorrow, drowning in pain

and shredding scars reminds me of that night.

No hill could be my surrender

as the saviour was the dark angel in bright.

To be encouraged by the roses in the sky

and to find blood in the unyielding light.

Now I cover my kind,

where all was known to the blind,

As I shiver between my mind,

Therefore, until we meet again aligned.
