A Freedom under my right
is where my inner place
whittles with the silent night.
Where my heart has spoken;
“I surrender you my inner light.”
My truth is not to be known by all,
but only felt by a few in sight.
In a labyrinth of lies,
where my heart stops,
I sought for your disguise.
For I was a stranger,
hidden in the dark,
to the well-known eyes.
As I near closely,
frightened,
I hear the roaring skies.
So here I see my pride
and where I have fallen
I remember my tears from inside.
To the well-known I plea;
“I surrender my hidden faces from outside.”
Follow me on my next channels and have a delight follow;

This is a beautiful poem. I’m terrible at lying and keeping secrets. I’ve never considered how privileged I must be that I can live so openly and honestly.

Stunning picture. Outstanding poem. 💝I prefer the truth that hurts than the lie that pleases. 😉

“O heart, did I not tell thee?
Beware of thee hereafter,
One day this smooth deceiver
Will mock thy tears with laughter.”
Oddly enough your poem brought this one to my mind so I thought I would share. How beautiful words can be!

It isn’t written by me, but it is a poem I carry around with me. Yours reminded me of it and I wanted to share it with you. The poet is Mary Carshore long dead and almost completely forgotten.

This is beautiful!! Such amazingly woven words!
I’d honestly go with the truth on face even if it hurts.. other than a lie straight on face.. I believe that hurts even more when the truth unfolds after the lie.
And hey JoJo! I’ve nominated you for the Sunshine Blogger Award. Will be eagerly waiting for your amazing answers! Do check it out at my blog AhiriCreates.
