This is what I remember;

A lonesome tide that

whittles with my despair.

For I had to believe

in your lies while

my heart of black lost

his affair. Here I behold

my truth, as I wonder,

to a world with no care.

As these memories

linger through my veins

I take you, my love, ne’er.

Two lost strangers

in the sea speak in silence

as they become one.

For I rise with the tide

I see the blue sky

hiding with the sun.

To you I say;

“Take my hand, covered in blood,

as I feel your lingering command”

With the stars I see my past

as I am a luna away from land.
