With lonely waters,

in the moon and sky,

I praise of tears at home.

As I watched you

disappear into the

blue night with earths ohm.

Things of beauty

that burn onto my palm  

I reach for my home.

Do not fade away

into the low waters

as I try to reminisce.

For there is no dawn

until dusk is my

reason to dismiss.

With tender lips

you speak of memory,

take my soul to kiss.

This night belongs

to you, my losing remiss.

  5. A beautiful sadness in this break-up with a special person. To me, those escalated as the narrator seemed to have difficulty remembering that special person. As if the memories, like the person, are dissipating — as in these well-written lines: As I watched you / disappear into the / blue night”

We all have that kind of sadness what inspires us to achieve great things. As she disappeared I saw my soul rise into something new and beautiful!
