Hi fellow stranger,

Today I am sharing you this next contest that I have created in honour of my one-year anniversary. The reason why I am doing this is because I believe in my motto; “One community, one goal. To write and to inspire.”So, dear contestant, feel free to submit your work, let us enjoy and show me what you got! 

The rules are simple;

  1. Write a short poem or whatever in less than 300 words.
  2. Use one of the following topics;
    1. Lust
    2. Gluttony
    3. Greed
    4. Sloth
    5. Wrath
    6. Envy
    7. Pride
  3. Use at least one of the following words*; (more is possible)
    1. Love
    2. Hate
    3. Beauty
    4. Sin
    5. Justice
    6. (*all words can be used in present or past sentence)
  4. Do what your heart says, feel your muse & start writing.
  5. Be as creative as you can be.
  6. Submit your work to; contest@jojoalwaealy.com
  7. Submit your work before march the 20th at 00:00 hours.

Well, as you know I have started this contest to celebrate my website one-year anniversary. But, that’s not al. Today, March 15th has a second celebration going on, because it’s my 28th birthday as well. So, this is also a way to celebrate my birthday! And to top that, I Designed my own T-shirt. With this T-shirt you will support my work, but also support charity group once a year. For every sold item I will donate 10% to charity. By using Instagram I will ask you at the end of the year what charity I should support!

What do the winners get; Three winners (all first place)

  1. Win A t-shirt that I have designed for my next project (JJ-Stache)
  2. My own designed notebook.
  3. I will post your work on my website and Instagram.

The creator of this contest, Jojo Al-waealy, promises to not use any of your work for his own benefit. Al work that has been submitted will be only used for this contest. I May share your work to promote you. Your work will be shared on the following platforms; Jojoalwaealy.com, Instagram and Twitter.

  12. Happy Birthday, my friend Jojo Al-waealy. I have met you almost a month ago.

    I’m excited about the contest. It is a good opportunity for me to speak my words. You are a good organiser. Your purpose is appreciated.

    I hope more people will participate in a healthy event. It does not matter we lose or win, we always have a chance to learn, be better.

  18. It’s a bit belated but Happy Birthday! I’m gutted I missed the competition closing date, but here’s a piece off the cuff anyway:

    Time charges forward
    Regardless of our wishes
    Love is to have more of it
    Hate; that it moves so quickly
    That a day is always 24 hours
    Is unhelpful earthly justice
    Oh, that I could create more
    Steal, and hoard, and hold
    Gifts for those more deserving than I
    But, this selfish desire fades
    Because we all have a choice
    To value the time we have
    Or squander it
    What will you do?
