Mother,
Do listen to my heart;
“We are silent strangers
whom is not far from apart.
Crafted from love and beauty
you share me to the world like art.”
Suddenly there was love
within a moment of faire la bise.
But here I stand, eye to eye,
as I can’t speak with lies.
In the night lights the shadows
fall over my tears as I disguise.
Have mercy over me
as I wait in the shallow for the sunrise.
To be taught that no smile hides
behind the curtain-skies.
