‘Angustation,

An walk down the street,

Never wandering, nor speaking, without my feet.

Give me my last breath, for I am losing thin air. Mother Earth, the

Universe of all, take me away from this path. For I was beat.

Seek me throughout and I shall stand tall.

This world, the conquer, is my emperor by my side to feel complete.

Alas, as I learn to walk,

To talk,

In this new world I share you my thoughts, so take a seat!

Only you make me briefly believe in your hope,

Neither have I spoken to mother’s elite.

  1. Jojo… I have read this one at least five times now. I get something different every time… it’s very deep and as always, very unique; you have your own poetic language. The last line has me spinning inquisitively in my mind. Would love to hear your elaborations on it over virtual coffee some time… :))) 🎶💛🌷🙏🌻

    • Ahah aahww, Lia. first I want to say that you are truly amazing. That you took your time to at least read one of my work over 5 times. that’s a huge, pardon my French, fucking compliment 🙈❤️

Secondly, thank you so much for your support. I Just didn’t know what it would have done without you❤️

Thirdly, you got me speechless about the “own poetic language”😍😍🥰🥰 so that’s a huge compliment. Because I love to talk, always have a answer ready and yes I love to talk.

Lastly, “neither have I spoken to mother’s elite”.
By this I mean to say: by all the pressure, by all the world’s society, the expectations from everyone. We forget one thing, what do “we” want and what can mother earth do for us! without feeling the pressure.

Something like that. It’s kinda hard to explain sometimes.

      😚😚🤗🤗❤️❤️

      • Ah yes… that makes perfect sense. The high-pressuring “elite” of the earth. Thank you so much for this explanation Jojo… and for all your beautiful kind words. And for all your support likewise… I feel very lucky to know you here. I think I keep saying that.
        Cause it’s true. ;)) 💛💛💛

  2. You know why “never wandering”? Because you have walked down these streets/lanes many times (and as your reader we all accompanied you), Searching for your missing key (anything – freedom/hope, anyone – fiction/imagination, guessing 😛)! Never mind.

    A N G U S T A T I O N
The title means contracting something. But you were on a journey and you learnt (to walk, to talk). I read your explanation for the last line but how shall I add it with the rest? Still didn’t realise what you wanted, so angustation?🤔

If you have time, go on. I had a weird, funny dream. You passed an elderly couple on your bike. Stopped. Asked the lady for a dance and then you all danced!

    • Hi Nebula,
I hope you have been fine? Let me se how I could explain this one to you :).

“An walk down the street, Never wandering, nor speaking, without my feet.”
with this I mean that we can not tell a story without experience. we have to make “mistakes” to learn from them.

“Give me my last breath, for I am losing thin air. Mother Earth, the Universe of all, take me away from this path. For I was beat”
With just one sparkle of light I will have enough motivation to move on and start learning again. I Have the strength in me, but I just need a guidance through life.

“Seek me throughout and I shall stand tall. This world, the conquer, is my emperor by my side to feel complete.”
Whatever you may ask me I will do it, because I’m ready. The experience I do have.

“Alas, as I learn to walk, To talk, In this new world I share you my thoughts, so take a seat!”
While I am walking down the new path I will teach others what I have been taught in my journey, because we all have the same fight.

Angustation is Straightening or contracting. And for me it was about straightening out my life! figuring things out that I was supposed to.

Thanks for asking this question, I hope its kind off clear now?

Next, Your Dream; CAN I SAY THAT’S AMAZING! It really sounds like you already know me. LOL, that would be something that I would do! I love talking with elderly couples, so why wouldn’t I dance with them. LOL

      I always have time 🙂

      Take care of yourself,

PS, check out my latest work “Keen” 🙂

      • Thank you very much for this explanation. I guess, I read the entire poem with “contraction” in mind. I have got two flavours now. Thank you again. Oh God, I just made you write such a long explanation. I feel like saying Thank you Professor!
