‘pursue,

In the future of words I seek for validation,

To a frightening of speech,

Mother of all, conquer of spoken words

I slaughtered my tongue for thou nation.

Have I not shared my pleasure of ambition?

Haven’t I….?

Shall I never be the truthful causation?

Though I’m on a quest of empowering;

“To tall to stand, to short to withhold on.”

How long to endure thus duration.

To fight?

To speak?

To rise?

To behold the truth in my dictation!

  1. Thank you – a good poem. I’m always a bit puzzled by your grammar. (conquer of spoken words, thou nation, thus duration) Maybe it’s intentional – shaking up established patterns?

  2. I hug you dear friend. You’re amazing. As always!!! “Shall I never be the truthful causation?” WOW! this is what we all long for. And what we all achieve somewhere, if we long and act well enough; though the somewhere, somehow, and perhaps most of all, the somewho… tends to be rather surprising. Or it has been so far for me, at least. Muah 😘🥳🙏👏🎉🙌💛🔆🌀
